What this website does not do
This website sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. We use no analytics, forms, accounts, comments or newsletters. The typeface is served from our own server, so no one else learns that you visit.
Server logs
When you visit, the server stores your IP address, the time, the page you asked for and your browser. The purpose is operation and security, and the legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are deleted after 7 days. The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany (EU), which processes data on our behalf.
The films
The films play from our own server at Hetzner in Germany. The same applies as for the server logs above, and nobody else learns what you watch.
Search
The search on this site runs only in your browser. What you type in the search box is not sent to us or anyone else, does not end up in the server logs and is not stored.
YouTube – only when you press play
The films are on YouTube. The page loads nothing from YouTube until you press play yourself. Only then does the film load from YouTube (Google) via youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives your IP address and device information, and may store and read information on your device. The name «nocookie» does not mean that no cookies are used.
Once the film has loaded, Google is responsible for that data. Data may be transferred to the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (GDPR art. 45). This website uses YouTube API Services. Read Google's privacy policy and YouTube's terms.
To avoid this, do not press play – read the film scene by scene on the page instead.
If you write to us, we process the e-mail to answer questions about the website, corrections and topic ideas. The legal basis is legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). Do not send health information. If you do, we do not reply with advice, and we delete the message within 30 days. E-mail is hosted by Fastmail Pty Ltd (Australia). It may be stored in the USA and other countries outside the EU/EEA. The transfer is based on the EU standard contractual clauses (GDPR art. 46).
Links to platforms
Links to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook take you to another service, whose privacy rules then apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and to object. Write to dicta@odkdigital.no. You can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Automated decisions
We make no automated decisions and create no profiles.
